The Society for Energy, Materials & Sustainability (SEMS) is an international, non-profit professional society dedicated to advancing research, innovation, and knowledge exchange at the intersection of energy systems, advanced materials, sustainability, and environmental technologies.

SEMS was established to serve as a global platform for researchers, engineers, academics, industry professionals, and early-career scientists working on solutions to the most pressing scientific and technological challenges of our time (energy transition, clean water, sustainable materials, climate resilience, and circular economy).
